Made it and validated at 50179- still have to get through a funeral and stirring speech about change, 50k dragon is slayed. I tried numerous times to kill off my heroine at the end of the book. She refused to die. Now to put it on the first draft revision list. I already know much of what I want to do. I suspect I need to add a couple chapters. But hey, I am the author I am allowed to re-write…Be well. (Changed my mind, added some raw writing)
Once again the ground bubbled, and changed. The lava started to roll towards the stone walls. Either Elias didn’t believe what he been told about the events of earlier today or no one from the battle survied. It didn’t matter the lava slowly rolled to the stone walls. Elias remained on the wall staring down at what he was seeing. The sound of the rolling lava changed as it hit the stone wall. The hissing grew louder and the lava grew with intensity. And once the stone started transforming it tore threw the stone wall like it wasn’t there. It seemed it was easier for Jorunn and Othin to change the stone into lava than the earth. The walls started to crumble and fall. Jorunn watched as Elias fell into the lava screaming. But she still pushed on the walls of lava forming a circle and moving faster as the closed in to the center. And then it was over. There was no Febostead. There was burnt, charred, melted stone and nothing else. There was no Febostead.
